Sikes Orvis is getting hot at just the right time for Ole Miss.
Safe to say @sikesorvis24 has hit well during @OleMissBSB 5 game winning streak: .600 avg., 12 hits, 7 HR, 2 2B, 16 RBI, 11 runs, 1.750 slg%

The senior slugger has four home runs in his last two games, and had 8 RBI in the route of the Red Wolves. That makes 16 homers on the season for Orvis and 34 for his career, moving him into 10th place on the school's all-time home run list.
The Rebels improved to 29-24, and will finish the regular season above .500 no matter what happens in this weekend's series against Texas A&M. Finishing above .500 makes Ole Miss eligible for an NCAA Regional berth, but doesn't necessarily get the Rebels in.
People who know more than me about baseball say Ole Miss should be a safe bet to make the field.
