Ole Miss 92, Austin Peay 63

Ole Miss cruised past Austin Peay 92-63 on $1 day at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Jarvis Summers led the Rebels with 18 points, Stefan Moody had 14 and Dwight Coleby scored a career-high 12.

Ole Miss improved to 9-4 with the win.

The Rebels travel to No. 1 Kentucky on Tuesday for their SEC opener after concluding an up and down non-conference schedule that included encouraging road wins and disappointing home losses.

“I’m just excited that it’s SEC season,” Ole Miss head coach Andy Kennedy said. “Obviously the stakes get raised. We get a chance to play the No. 1 team in the country in the best venue in all of college basketball. This is the reason you do this. I know our guys will be excited about the opportunity.”
