The 400

They were small in number, but mighty in spirit. Ole Miss fans are a special bunch. While most of the credit for the Super Regional victory surely goes to Mike Bianco and his team, the loud contributions and support of the 400 will long be remembered, as will the brilliant heckles of Louisiana pitcher and coach's son Austin Robichaux.

I'm convinced that the shouts of "Daddy's Boy," "Uh-oh, here comes Daddy" and "Daddy's Girl" were what nearly rattled Robichaux out of the game in the 2nd inning Saturday night. Of course Robichaux would recover and ULL would win that first game, but his ears probably never stopped ringing. The 400's dogged determination set the tone for the series that night.

They did everything in their power to boost Ole Miss toward Omaha, and now that's exactly where the Rebels are headed.
