Ole Miss vs. LSU, 8 p.m. CSS/ESPN3

It's only mid-January, but at 10-4 and 1-1 in the SEC Ole Miss already finds itself in a position of needing wins to keep post-season tournament hopes alive. That's not to say that a loss tonight would extinguish that hope, but after a loss to Mississippi State on Saturday and with not much to show for quality wins in the non-conference schedule, the Rebels' margin for error is razor thin.

The good news is that Marshall Henderson is back after missing the first two conference games for disciplinary reasons, and Ole Miss needs its leading scorer to return to form (18.8 points per game) quickly. His presence probably would have made the difference against State, but we'll never know for sure.

What we do know is that Henderson and the dependable Jarvis Summers (17 ppg) won't be able to beat LSU by themselves. The Rebels also badly need production from their bigs. Someone among Demarco Cox, Aaron Jones and Sebastian Saiz will need to have a good night, but they'll have their hands full battling LSU's 6-foot-9, 256-pound forward Johnny O'Bryant (14 ppg, 7 rpg). Jones had 12 points and 7 boards against Auburn in the conference opener, but the trio of Jones, Cox and Saiz combined for only 9 points in Saturday's loss to MSU.

LSU is 10-4 (1-1 SEC) after losing its opener to Tennessee 68-50 and winning at South Carolina 71-68.
