Ole Miss takes on Kansas State tonight at 8 p.m. (ESPN2). The Rebels are 6-0.
Whereas last year Ole Miss was the Marshall Henderson Show, so far in this young season the Rebels are looking more like The Three Amigos...(only in that there are 3 of them...this old movie trailer is hilariously bad):
Derrick Millinghaus, Jarvis Summers and Henderson are each averaging 15 points per game. All three are proving to be dangerous scoring threats and, when they're on the floor at the same time, with Millinghaus at the point and Henderson and Summers at the wings, the Rebels have been hard to stop offensively.
Interestingly, Henderson has been playing most games off the bench. Whether that's an effort from Andy Kennedy to keep Henderson's green light in check, some addition to the disciplinary suspensions Henderson received or just a concerted effort to prepare the team for those two conference games that Henderson will sit is anybody's guess, but it's had the effect of making Summers more assertive with the basketball. Summers has always been talented, but he's not been aggressive. This year, as a 3rd-year starter, that seems to be changing. Meanwhile sophomore Derrick Millinghaus, the hero of last year's Missouri game, is always looking to score, and with a year under his belt he seems to be a lot better at it. He's still got the same speed down the floor, but his decision making at the end and his shooting have improved.
With multiple scoring threats on the floor the Rebels are looking like a good basketball team, but they'll be tested more this week. Tonight it's Kansas State in Manhattan and then Sunday Ole Miss hosts No. 13 Oregon (7-0) (4 p.m. ESPNU).
We'll know a lot more about these Rebels by Sunday night.

Sims (6-foot-4, 348 pounds) is a 3-star offensive guard from Homewood, Alabama. Sounds big.
