While the consensus seems to be that he'll pick LSU, the Rebels haven't been officially ruled out by 5-star Plainsfield South, Illinois, linebacker Clifton Garrett. Garrett is set to announce his choice between LSU, Ole Miss and Tennessee from his high school on Tuesday at 3 p.m. NOLA.com predicts that Garrett will pick the Tigers, but Ole Miss has been recruiting Garrett hard since last spring and given Hugh Freeze and Co.'s success to date I won't write the Rebels off until Garrett unveils a purple & gold t-shirt. That appears to be exactly what will happen, but hey, we might as well tune in.
Ole Miss currently has a Top 15 recruiting class. Landing a big fish like Garrett would vault it even higher.

The Rebels also continue to pursue Crete, Illinois, linebacker Nyles Morgan, another heralded member of the 2014 class who plays linebacker at the same high school as Laquon Treadwell. If Garrett does decide to go to LSU, don't freak out. There's still a chance the Rebels could get Morgan.
