Count me as one of those who is intensely bummed that Eli Manning and the Giants didn't make the NFL playoffs this year. The Giants are the one NFL team I really pull for with my heart. Now that they're out of it I'll just watch because it's football and it's on. For these playoffs I'm left to pull for the other Manning, Peyton, and his Broncos so Peyton can catch up with Eli and get that 2nd Super Bowl ring. As recently as just a few weeks ago I thought this could be the year that Peyton and Eli faced each other in the Super Bowl. It would have been epic, but it wasn't to be. Maybe next year.
