Ole Miss Morning Delivery

by Jake Adams

There hasn't been an Ole Miss football or basketball game to enjoy since Christmas Day, but the drought ends tonight as the Rebels host Fordham (4-10) at Tad Smith Coliseum at 8 p.m. It's the last non-conference game of the season for Ole Miss (10-2) and it's another one of those games that isn't a big deal to win, but is disastrous to the NCAA resume to lose. Aside from that the Rebels need to go into their conference opener at Tennessee on January 9th on a winning note, with Marshall Henderson feeling it and an 11th win before starting that always brutal 18-game conference schedule.

While most of Rebel Nation has it's sights set on tomorrow's BBVA Compass Bowl tonight's Fordham game is important, and it'll be televised on CSS.

Here's more of your Ole Miss morning headlines. Be sure to read the hometown boy done good piece on Bjork (No. 4). I enjoyed his analysis of Hugh Freeze, which you'll find toward the end of the article.

1. Ole Miss goes after State's top commitment.

2. Basketball team looking for 11th win tonight.

3. Ole Miss - Pitt to collide tomorrow.

4. Bjork: Freeze gets people to believe.

5. Jeff Scott to return for senior year.

7. Did you miss yesterday's Ole Miss Tweet of the Day?

8. Rebels ready. Wallace's throws have a little  more zip.
