Too often in college athletics the only grades that make the news are bad ones, and not so much because we care about the athlete's well-being, but because we're worried their eligibility will affect the outcome of the game. It's so backwards, and I'm guilty, too. But, and I know this will come as a shock to some, college is about so much more than wins and losses. A large percentage of Ole Miss players will never make a dime off their athletic careers. Instead they'll become bankers, teachers, coaches, lawyers...you get my point. College is supposed to be about...college. That's why when we see news like this it deserves a hefty dose of praise for players and coaches alike.
I'm glad these could be the Ole Miss Tweet(s) of the Day! Congratulations!
It's not official yet but its looking like Ole Miss Baseball will have their highest GPA ever as a team.
