247 Sports' Gerry Hamilton had detailed conversations with running back Kailo Moore and safety Ashton Shumpert yesterday. Moore told him he is talking to coaches from Ole Miss and Mississippi State several times a week and shared a little bit of the pitches he is getting from both Hugh Freeze and Dan Mullen. Moore said that Mullen wants to use him as more of a true tailback while Freeze envisions him playing in the slot a little more. It sounds like Moore liked Mullen's idea better, but you decide. Shumpert, the safety from Fulton, said he is still wide open and he talks a little about his relationship with Matt Luke and Mississippi State's coach. Shumpert will most likely be one of those exciting signing day decisions.
With the addition of juco DT Jarran Reed (a.k.a "King Kong") yesterday the Ole Miss commitment list is at 20. Currently, there is only one linebacker on the list.
