It's official. Ole Miss will play Pitt January 5 at 12 p.m. (ESPN) in the BBVA Compass Bowl at Birmingham's Legion Field. The Rebels will cap a 6-6 season with a bowl game in Hugh Freeze's first season as head coach. Pitt also finished the season 6-6. This is the Panthers' third consecutive trip to Birmingham for a bowl game.
