The Daily Journal's Parrish Alford is reporting that Ole Miss tight end Jamal Mosley is an academic casualty and won't be eligible to play in the BBVA Compass Bowl on January 5. This isn't surprising news given earlier reports and things Mosley had recently shared via social media, but it's the first confirmation. The Rebels will still have senior Ferbia Allen at tight end. Allen is returning from a knee injury suffered against Vanderbilt.
