Ole Miss Finishes 17th

Ohio State is the new National Champion of College Football, and with that the 2014-15 season is finally and completely over. Ole Miss finished 17th in the final AP Poll, and can boast wins over No. 4 Alabama, No. 11 Mississippi State, No. 16 Boise State and No. 25 Memphis.

That is a lot of Top 25 wins.

The No. 17 AP finish marks the first time Ole Miss has been included in the final AP Poll since 2009.

TCU, which annihilated the Rebels in the Peach Bowl, must have proved a point. The Horned Frogs finished 3rd, ahead of College Football Playoff teams Alabama and Florida State.

Masoli Still Fighting for a Chance
The New York Times ran a feature on former Oregon and Ole Miss quarterback Jeremiah Masoli. Masoli laments what he lost, but I still lament that Masoli had to play his final year of college football under Houston Nutt. That should have been punishment enough for anything he did at Oregon. What a waste of talent. Can you imagine what Hugh Freeze could have done with Masoli? LINK
