High Expectations for 2015 Rebels

It's way, way too early to even think about this, but if you're an Ole Miss football fan, you have a lot to be excited about in 2015.

One day after the college football season ended the pundits raced to release their Top 25's for 2015, and Ole Miss received a considerable amount of favorable attention. The superstar rising junior class of Laremy Tunsil, Tony Conner, Laquon Treadwell and Robert Nkemdiche are a big reason why, along with the fact that the team has steadily improved in each of Hugh Freeze's first three seasons. If trend continues Ole Miss will finish with at least 10 wins next season.

Dennis Dodd of CBS: 7th
NFL.com: 7th
Paul Myerberg, USA Today: 9th
Mark Schlabach, ESPN.com: 11th
Stewart Mandel, Fox Sports: 11th
Steven Lasson, Athlon Sports: 13th

Meanwhile, ESPN's SEC Blog says Ole Miss will be the 4th best team in the SEC in its "way too early" SEC Power Rankings:
The Rebs were a Laquon Treadwell injury away from the College Football Playoff. But what almost was doesn't matter now. Now you look at a team without Cody Prewitt, Senquez Golson and Bo Wallace, and wonder what will be. Hugh Freeze has assembled a talented roster the past few years, but with instability at a few key positions, he'll have his hands full.
