Lindsey Miller Tries to Take Down Ole Miss

Hell hath no fury like a stepdad who got beat up by his future 1st round NFL Draft pick stepson.

Lindsey Miller, who sent pictures of his injuries from his whuppin at the hands of stepson Laremy Tunsil to TMZ, now wants to sink not only his stepson's college career, but apparently the entire Ole Miss football program.

Miller told the Clarion Ledger he met with NCAA Director of Enforcement Chris Howard for three hours on Friday and that he had agreed to keep the meeting confidential, but on Thursday Miller told the Clarion-Ledger that he is aware of violations that occurred during Tunsil's recruitment, including claims of falsified academic records and gifts made by the university.

Miller also alleges that the agents have provided Tunsil with other benefits outside of transportation, including gifts of cash, clothes, help with car insurance payments and more.

These would not be minor violations if they are true.

But is Miller credible?

His story about a yellow convertible full of agents makes little sense. His actions - sending the pictures to TMZ, calling NCAA Investigators and his statements to the Clarion Ledger - completely contradict his original story that he was ever concerned for Tunsil and didn't want him in the presence of sports agents.

It doesn't take a master's degree in psychology to see what's going on here. Miller has a vendetta against a stepson who physically humiliated him. Now Miller, who has surely burned every ounce of good will with Tunsil and Tunsil's mother, wants revenge and to inflict pain in every way he can, none of those ways requiring much in the way of courage. Sending pictures to TMZ and talking to the NCAA are not the acts of a man who has an ounce of genuine concern for his stepson.

No matter how despicable Miller's actions toward Tunsil, his retaliation has been effective if it's true that the NCAA is snooping into the Ole Miss football program and into the recruitment of one of the crown jewels of that 2013 class. If there's an infraction to be found, a scorned stepdad could have been close enough to be able to give the NCAA the dirt. He obviously has the motive.

Lindsey Miller just became Ole Miss football's worst nightmare.
