From the Clarion Ledger:
Mike Hilton and Evan Engram weighed in on which newcomer has impressed them most so far.
There was a consensus answer among the two.
"DaMarkus Lodge, actually," cornerback Mike Hilton said. "He looks real, real good."
Most of Ole Miss' 2015 signing class, which was the 17th-best class in the nation according to 247Sports.com, has enrolled. Ole Miss coach Hugh Feeze said defensive end Rasool Clemons will likely head the junior college route, but expects all the other signees to be cleared.
That class included eight four-stars. Lodge was one of them, and junior tight end Evan Engram said he's living up to his ranking so far.
"(Lodge) comes to work every day," Engram said. "He does the little things right. Once camp starts, the whole playbook is thrown at them. He'll be swimming a little bit. It's been impressive to watch him and (freshman wideout Van Jefferson) work as hard as they are."
