Ole Miss 67, Missouri 47

Ole Miss led for most of the game and it was never really in doubt except for a moment when Missouri pulled within 9 midway through the 2nd half. Stefan Moody led the Rebels with 23 points, but he also did this...

Moody, who was 10 of 10 from the free throw line, was the only Rebel who scored in double figures. BOX SCORE

It was a blowout, but that's what the Rebels were supposed to do to a Missouri team that has now lost seven straight. Winning the games you are supposed to win is a big deal in the SEC. If Ole Miss can continue to do just that it might make it back to the NCAA Tournament for the 2nd time in 3 years.

Ole Miss returns to Oxford with a legitimate winning streak (3 games) and is just one win over Texas A&M away from being tied for 2nd in the SEC. Finishing in the Top 4 is important for SEC Tournament seeding, and there's a good chance (if this year is like every other) Ole Miss will make or break its March Madness chances in the conference tournament. Therefore, being 2nd in the conference is a big deal.

Ole Miss (14-7, 5-3 SEC) hosts the Aggies this Wednesday.

Expect the Rebels to creep up in the RPI standings and stay in the NCAA Tournament outlook as a result of the win. Ole Miss was included in the NCAA brackets of both Joe Lunardi and Jerry Palm this week. A win over Texas A&M (15-5, 6-2 SEC) will turn some heads.
