Ole Miss (1-0) climbed three spots to No. 15 in this week's AP Poll following Saturday's 35-13 win over Boise State. The Rebels moved up to 17th in the Coaches Poll.
Four future opponents and fellow members of the SEC West are ranked ahead of Ole Miss in the AP Poll, including Alabama (2), Auburn (5), Texas A&M (9) and LSU (12).
If the Rebels can take care of business and beat Vanderbilt, UL-L and Memphis, Ole Miss will likely be in or near the Top 10 prior to the early October showdown with Alabama.
