Scouting Boise State (a little)

Robert Nkemdiche's performance in practice on Saturday has people (including me) talking about the breakout year the former No. 1 recruit could have in his sophomore season. The opportunity should be there for his breakout to start on August 28th.

This from the Idaho Statesman in a story scouting Boise State's road opponents:
Two of Boise State's three players on the interior offensive line will be first-year starters.
Those new guys will cut their teeth on Robert Nkemdiche.

The Broncos have a youth movement of sorts all along their offensive line, having lost three starters from a season ago (two of those to the NFL). While Boise State's youth is no guarantee of success for Ole Miss' defensive front, it would certainly seem to create a favorable match-up.

If you're like me and can't start your scouting for the season opener soon enough, then this is a good place to start. The trenches are where Ole Miss should have an advantage over a Mountain West opponent.

Here's the story on Boise's offensive line from the Idaho Press. LINK
