This morning I shared that Scarbrough is No. 1 on my most-wanted list.
Here's the player at the top of my 2014 wish list. I dream big. Luckily, so does @CoachHughFreeze

A couple hours later...
Heard from a pretty good source who thinks Bo Scarbrough ends up at #OleMiss in the end. #Bama

Later a source told me he thinks Scarbrough will end up at Ole Miss. But tonight, while I was at the grocery store waiting to check out, this rolls across my Twitter feed:
I run down hill deliver blows like a hammer now I'm solid committed to Alabama🅰🐘🏈ROLLTIDE #crimson#white
— Bo Scarbrough (@starbo06) January 17, 2014
And if that wasn't emphatic enough:
Bo Scarborough texts me and says #OleMiss is out and he's 100% #Alabama but I would still not be shocked at all if he surprised people.

Scarbrough was trying really hard to let everybody know he is still solid to Bama. Perhaps a little too hard? There are two possibilities here:
1) All the "sources" out there saying Scarbrough to Ole Miss could really happen are just completely wrong, OR 2) Scarbrough doesn't want to let on to Alabama that he may flip so as to keep the pressure off.
Both make sense. Sources have been wrong before, and Scarbrough lives in Tuscaloosa, so yeah, I can see how he might want to keep the pressure off by telling the world he is still solid to Alabama even if maybe he really isn't. Alabama people have been known to do some crazy stuff when things don't go their way. Scarbrough may have a giant oak tree in his yard that needs protection.
I have no idea what the truth is, but whatever it is it makes for some exciting crootin'. I have a feeling this Scarbrough thing isn't dead yet. Stay tuned. The next couple weeks could be a lot of fun.
