1. Redemption. No, beating Georgia Tech won't erase the Egg Bowl debacle, but a big win would certainly wash the bad taste out of everyone's mouth. That Egg Bowl memory has been sitting for five long weeks, and that's too long. Finishing with a win would make the off-season better for everybody, coaches, players, fans, and it probably wouldn't hurt recruiting either.
2. Find the Offense. Ole Miss scored one offensive touchdown in its last two games. Bo Wallace may have had his worst game as a Rebel in the Egg Bowl. The Ole Miss offense is one that desperately needs a confidence boost. Even Hugh Freeze could use a game where everything he calls works. There's a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball, but for some reason it became discombobulated in late November. Emphasizing the run could help the Rebel offensive machine get running smoothly again. Jeff Scott won't be available due to an illness in his family, but I'Tavius Mathers and Jaylen Walton should be able to get the job done.
3. Stop the Wishbone. How will the Rebel defense fare against Paul Johnson's triple option? No idea, but if the Rebels can stop it the game should be in hand.
