Ole Miss Tops Georgia Tech

Ole Miss easily dispatched Georgia Tech 77-67 to improve to the Championship game of the Barclays Center Classic in Brooklyn, New York. At one point in the 2nd half the Rebels led Tech by 20 points. While the Rambling Wreck may not be a Top 25 club, the lopsided win over an ACC team on a neutral floor looked impressive enough to me. Ole Miss improved to 5-0 and plays the winner of Penn State / St. John's Saturday.

Derrick Millinghaus poured in 16 points and Demarco Cox posted his second double-double of the season with 15 points and 13 boards. Marshall Henderson added 15 points for the Rebels. Ole Miss took control with an 18-7 run spanning 6:08 in the first half. Henderson started the run with consecutive three pointers, and he later added a third.

Henderson shot 5-of-15 from the field, including 4-for-14 from the 3-point line, in 27 minutes. At the half, the Rebels led 35-21.
