Ole Miss Tweet of the Day

It's only 2 p.m., but I think it's safe to go ahead and declare this tweet by Ole Miss commit Herbert Moore as the Ole Miss Tweet of the Day. If there's a better one in the next few hours I'll let you know, but since everyone has been on pins and needles regarding Jones since Friday, and really all week if you count the talk of the "mystery recruit," it's safe to say this tea leaf of a tweet has Ole Miss fans in a virtual frenzy at the thought (hope) that the Rebels could land this country's top two defensive ends in one signing class.
The hilarious thing about Jones' arrival on campus is that it almost overshadowed the most long-awaited recruiting visit of the season, that of the nation's No. 1 recruit, Robert Nkemdiche. I said "almost" because nothing can overshadow a man with the clout, size and talent of Denzel's little brother - not even Tasmanian Denzel himself. Every eye with a bend toward college recruiting has been watching the younger Nkemdiche's every move for nearly two years now, and this weekend he finally made it to Oxford for his "official" visit, and the small football-centered town has been in a state of recruiting-induced pandemonium for each of the last 48 hours. All that late-night energy around the beautiful Oxford Square could pay dividends soon. Robert's good friend, cornerback David Kamara, certainly seemed to appreciate it.
What a weekend! Stay tuned. These 10 days leading up to National Signing Day could get very, very interesting, if not positively entertaining.

Meanwhile, I'm hard at work on the new site that will accompany the new Rebel Nation Magazine. It could be live as soon as tomorrow morning. For me, that's exciting, too.
