Ole Miss Tweet of the Day

by Jake Adams

Hugh Freeze is doing such a tremendous job in his first full year of recruiting for Ole Miss that Rebel fans are on the edge of their seats anticipating a significant haul of elite high school players on National Signing Day. The recruiting news has been so significant, in fact, that the practices ongoing at this week's Under Armour All-American Game are nearly eclipsing the news of BBVA Compass Bowl preparations as many of Ole Miss' most highly sought after recruits have been together in one place all week, and recruiting tidbits and leaking left and right.

The No. 1 player in the country (otherwise know as "Denzel's Little Brother") is on the list of players preparing for the Under Armour All-American Game. While the big defensive end from Georgia has never committed to Ole Miss and has been careful not to say he will definitely attend Ole Miss, Rebel fans have nonetheless been salivating over the prospects of a Jadeveon Clowney II in Oxford for the better part of a year now, but not without plenty of drama and uncertainty.

Earlier this week Nkemdiche reportedly said Ole Miss was in his Top 2 with LSU, which caused statewide heart palpitations and bodily bristles at the thought of losing Nkemdiche to the hated Tigers.

Also at the Under Armour game is five star South Panola safety Tony Conner, who says Ole Miss is in his Top 2 along with Alabama. Conner plans to announce on Friday from the game, and has listed lots of reasons why he is still heavily considering playing for Nick Saban.

It's all enough to keep Ole Miss fans in serious suspense! But today there was this news from Scout.com's Yancy Porter:
And for the time being at least, all is well with Rebel Nation.
