Thanks to Twitter and camera phones it's safe to say all the recruits currently in Oxford for the biggest recruiting weekend in Ole Miss history had a great time on Friday. First, the cat's out of the bag about the identity of the mystery recruit:
Just spotted 5-Star DE Chris Jones. He is in Oxford for his official visit to Ole Miss. That means Jones is in town with Robert Nkemdiche, who is also there on his official visit. The nation's No. 1 and No. 2 defensive end on the same defense? Yes please. Earlier in the week I thought Jones was a good guess as to the mystery recruit, but as the week wore on I thought perhaps Jones was too obvious and that Mississippi State would never let it happen. At least one reporter tweeted they had spoken to Jones and that he wasn't visiting Ole Miss this weekend, which was enough to convince me.

2013 MSU commit Chris Jones tells Bulldawgs247 he will be unofficially visiting MSU this weekend. He has a hoops game tonight.I guess there was a change in plans. There's definitely a cloak and dagger feel to these recruiting wars.

Ole Miss has also been going hard after Quincy Adeboyejo, a 4-star wide receiver from Texas the Rebels seek in compliment to 5-star wide receiver Laquon Treadwell, who is also in Oxford this weekend helping in the recruiting effort. Adeboyejo arrived in Oxford for the first time last night. A few hours on the Square later...
I planned on announcing on the 29th but why wait when you know where you need to be? Ole Miss is homeYep, the biggest recruiting weekend in Ole Miss history couldn't have started any better. Last night twitter was ablaze with reports and pics from the Square. It sounded like good times were had by all. It may be a while before there is any more news as I'm anticipating some late sleepers this morning.
