Ole Miss picked up a commitment from 4-star running back Kailo Moore today. The back with track-star speed (4.4-40) from West Bolivar is considered one of Mississippi's top college prospects. Rivals has him listed 3rd.
Moore will certainly be a heralded member of the 2013 Ole Miss class and a feather in the visor for Hugh Freeze if he follows through on National Signing Day (February 6).
Moore is another highly regarded piece to what is shaping up to be possibly the best recruiting class in Ole Miss history, and what's more, his commitment could signal more elite prospects to come. Moore says that he and South Panola safety Tony Conner will go to the same school. Conner and Robert Nkemdiche have stated they want to play together. Nkemiche ruled out Alabama for an official visit this week. Alabama is considered the top competition Ole Miss has for Conner. Putting all those clues together it seems plausible that Moore, Conner and Nkemdiche could all end up at Ole Miss together. You may have to read this paragraph a few times, but I think it makes sense.
Add top wide receiver Laquon Treadwell to that group and Ole Miss is looking at a shock and awe recruiting class the likes of which the state of Mississippi has never seen. Treadwell set his commitment for January 17 and still has a visit with Oklahoma State remaining, but the Rebels are widely considered his leader.
