Remember back in 1998 when Pine Box Tommy Tuberville coached the Egg Bowl, jogged off the field and resurfaced hours later as the new head coach at Auburn, without so much as a "Enjoyed it, Ole Miss"? He just did Texas Tech the EXACT same way. Maybe worse. This time, according to this recount by Texas Tech recruit Devonte Danzey, Tuberville and his assistants took Danzey and other recruits who were in Lubbock for the their official visit out to dinner at a Lubbock restaurant. During the meal, Tuberville got up from the table to go to the bathroom and....never returned. It sounds like something from a bad sitcom about a date gone bad. But it's not. It's real life and it's Tommy T.
