Saturday's 41-24 win over Mississippi State was awesome, but the rushing of the field and the celebration that ensued was about so much more than just that win on that night. The jubilation was the result of something far deeper than just beating Mississippi State after losing three years straight. It was way bigger than just quieting the antagonistic Dan Mullen. Rushing the field on Saturday night was a rightful celebration of all that is finally right about Ole Miss football after a couple very dark years and a reward to the players who have worked so hard to get back. I very much agree with Red Cup Rebellion's "In Defense of Storming the Field." There's some fun video included, too. Enjoy.
