Morning Delivery: Fun on Twitter

Lesson #1 in recruiting: Don't read too much into anything until National Signing Day. For example, hours after Mississippi State's top commitment Tweeted a picture of himself posing in an Ole Miss t-shirt, Jamal Peters seemingly reversed course with this:
Other than that Jamal Peters likes having fun on Twitter, there's no way to know anything until ink is on paper. Guard your hearts, people.

Sleeper
Ole Miss offered a scholarship to Kevin Scott, a 6-foot-5, 280-pound defensive tackle from California who has played just one year of football. Scott said, "(Ole Miss defensive line coach Chris) Kiffin told me I have the best upside he maybe has ever seen - like huge upside. He told me that I'm better than most anyone he's recruited this year." LINK and another LINK

Stronger
Ole Miss guard Stefan Moody proved the SEC may be stronger from top to bottom than many thought. LINK

Run out of the Gym
The Ole Miss women's team got a rare road SEC win down in Gainesville last night. LINK

Grab Kleenex
I love stories about people who do the right thing. This will melt your heart on this frosty morning. LINK.

Speaking of your heart, I'm blogging my morning devotions. It started out as a New Year's Resolution to learn these 100 bible verses, but it's morphed into my morning devotion. It's just a scripture verse with a short encouraging word. It would probably take you 15 to 30 seconds to read. Writing my thoughts helps me to focus. If you get some encouragement from it then that would be great, too. Check if out if you want. LINK.
